This case is originally a 30-year-old condo whose size is about 99ms in a trapezoidal layout.  To rectify this angular layout, the axis is used as the passageway linking each area, separating the house into public space and private space in light of functional attributes.  The design conforms to the concept of “bright hall & shadowy room” while getting rid of the Feng Shui taboo of “seeing the pillar at entrance,” minimizing the fragmental spaces deriving from the angular layout.  Since the living & dining area, the kitchen, and the reading area are open to users, the interior dimension appears a lot wider, reinforcing family interaction.
